FIELD ARCHIVE

Notes from the Field

These field notes document the raw capture process across remote landscapes and urban edges. We present the text as direct context for the frame, stripped of all digital decoration.

DOCUMENTARY JOURNAL

Observations on Raw Capture

This archive collects the raw field notes, technical constraints, and human encounters behind the multimedia documentations. We treat the digital page as a silent gallery wall.

High Desert, 16mm

Working in the high desert requires accepting the harsh midday sun. We do not grade the film. The exposure is locked, capturing the stark architectural shadows of abandoned homesteads exactly as they fell at noon. Every frame is a raw record.

Urban Edges

In the city, we seek unposed human subjects. We wait for hours in the transition zones where concrete meets dust. The camera remains stationary, a silent frame holding the weight of passing time. No staging, no artificial setups.

— SILENT FRAME

A single uncropped frame from the high desert homestead series. Captured on 16mm film under harsh midday sun. The frame holds the weight; the text is merely the context.
